Quickstart

Stash MCP is a Remote MCP server. Add it to your Claude client, sign in once, and the six tools appear alongside Claude's built-ins.

Claude.ai (web)

  1. Open Claude.ai → Settings → Connectors
  2. Click Add custom connector
  3. Name it Stash MCP and paste this URL:
    https://mcp-api.stashproperty.net
  4. Click Add → a Stash sign-in tab opens
  5. Sign in (or sign up), then click Approve on the consent screen
  6. Tab closes. Back in Claude, the connector shows Connected and six Stash tools are live in every chat.

Claude Desktop

  1. Open claude_desktop_config.json(~/Library/Application Support/Claude/ on macOS)
  2. Add this block:

  3. Restart Claude Desktop
  4. Click the Stash MCP tool chip → browser opens → sign in → Approve

Claude Code

  1. Run once in your terminal:
    claude mcp add --transport http stash-mcp https://mcp-api.stashproperty.net
  2. Start a Claude Code session and run /mcp
  3. Pick stash-mcp → browser opens → sign in → Approve

Without --transport http Claude treats the URL as a stdio command and the connection will fail.
